As this page has some difficult table formats, go to the word document to view the contents. On page 7 is a spiral plan with the 30 categories. Thogh I have placed 30 categories, this was more for the convenience of the 30 units of the grammar book ("Make grammar Talk"). However, the 30 are a good base. Each has a high degree of connectability to the other 29 categories. Remember that the chief insight behind these categories is that young people find the huge school material to have poor interconnections and to be too heavy to lift or manipulate.Teenagers will not be able to think the world intelligently if they do not have a manoevrable base of concepts with which they have had a long experience of moving about mentally. Intelligent thinking depends on practice and comprehensibility of material. Intelligence, like all creativity is a habit of mind: not an innate ability.
